  Those roly-poly creatures playfully romp with their beloved toys in this video outing for the Teletubbies, Favourite Things. Tinky Winky has his bag, Dipsy his splotched hat, Laa-Laa her ball and, of course, littlest Po her scooter. The opening of the video has each Teletubby in turn lose his or her favourite item, and then go off in search of it. Each Tubby is then featured in a segment: Laa-Laa chasing her ball, Tinky Winky singing into his bag, Dipsy dancing with his hat and Po riding in circles on her scooter.

  Everything has gone totally crazy in Teletubbyland. There are messes everywhere. Tubby toast, tubby custard and a ball of string have all been made messy by Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po, with a helping hand from the tubby machines, although Noo-noo always tidies up in the end.

  18: Nursery Rhymes

  Each of the Teletubbies is introduced to the joys of old-time school rhymes: Po happily noshes on her Tubby Toast as the mysterious speaker rises from the ground to warble "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." Dipsy and Laa-Laa tumble down hills like "Jack and Jill." Tinky Winky learns the fundamentals of "Pat a Cake." Kids will shriek with Dipsy as he runs away from the fuzzy pink spider that pops into place at the appropriate moment in "Little Miss Muffet," and they'll march about the living room with all four Tubbies to the "Grand Old Duke of York." "Hey Diddle Diddle," "Hickory Dickory Dock," and "Humpty Dumpty," and more are accompanied by much dancing and exclamation.

Thirteen short scenes explore the concepts of sleeping, waking, and general bedtime etiquette, with the usual singing and dancing thrown in. Included are familiar bedtime songs "Frere Jacques" and "Rock-a-bye Baby," as well as the upbeat "wake up" songs "Hey, Diddle Diddle," "Wake Up!," and "Itsy Bitsy Spider." The "tummy" video segments include a boy helping to put his brother to bed, being quiet while others are sleeping, night from a cat's point of view, and the cost of skipping a nap. ~ Sarah Block

Inside Home Hill, someone spilled their Tubby Custard, made a mess with their Tubby Toast at the control panel, and fell fast asleep. Tinky Winky, Dipsy and Laa-Laa play a "Who Did It?" game.

The "Tubby Bye-Bye" sequence takes place.

  52: Being Quiet

  Tinky Winky can't sleep and goes outside to play so as not to wake the other Teletubbies. But Tinky Winky's noisy footsteps, on top of Home Dome, wakes them up! In Tummy Tales, children quietly feed some birds and the Teletubbies are quiet as they watch the Tiddlytubbies go to Sleepybyes.

  The Teletubbies become a pop group and perform a pop song. In Tummy Tales, children watch a one man band playing music and accompany him by playing their own music.

  54: Making Sounds

  Po makes lots of silly, funny sounds with the levers and buttons in Home Dome and then the Tubby Phone rings for a silly Tubby Phone Dance. The Teletubbies enjoy watching children visit a farm and copying the sounds they hear.

  55: Rainbow

  The Teletubbies go for a walk on a lovely sunny day, but then clouds appear and it starts to rain. A rainbow shines in the sky and a rainbow path gives the Teletubbies a magical trail to follow. In Tummy Tales, children make a huge rainbow print with their feet.

  56: Twinkle Twinkle

  It is night time in Teletubbyland and the Teletubbies are all sleeping, apart from Tinky Winky. Stepping outside, Tinky Winky sees a star in the sky which sings Twinkle Twinkle. The other Teletubbies are woken so they can enjoy the special twinkly star. In Tummy Tales, a girl looks up to the night sky to spot the twinkliest star.

  57: Football

  Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po play football. The Teletubbies' ball goes inside Home Dome, just as the Tubby Phone begins to ring. It is time for a Tubby Phone Dance! The children in Tummy Tales enjoy a football lesson.

  Laa-Laa has fun watching Dipsy stretch up, like a very tall tower. The Tubby Toaster goes crazy and fires out lots of Tubby Toast which ends up in a tall tower too. The Teletubbies watch children climb the stairs to the top of a tall tower in Tummy Tales.

  The Teletubbies have lots of fun playing inside and outside Home Dome. They wave to the Tiddlytubbies from inside and outside too. In Tummy Tales, a girl helps her dad take wet washing from inside to hang up outside to dry.

  The Teletubbies accidentally leave the Tiddlytubbies' gate open and some of them escape into Home Dome. The Teletubbies must find them all and then close the gate.
