5: Shapes and Colors
Joe and his friend Blue tackle the preschool basics of circles, rectangles, even trapezoids while sorting through Blue's hints as to where she would like most to see more shapes in "Shape Searchers." If the clues cash register, cart, and food don't add up for you, the kid chorus will help you out. The second episode finds the pair in their backyard making a "portrait of pals," a painting of their many-colored friends. But they only have primary colors, so in order to paint Orange Kitten, for instance, they have to mix red and yellow. Joe makes the most of this opportunity for a color lesson with the assistance of Shovel, who turns out to be a superb artist without the help of a brush. Who knew? 1: Snack Time
It's our first day visiting the Blue's Clues house and right away we're welcomed in to join in a snack. Although ""snacking"" is the theme of the episode, there's much more to learn about than that. We help out Blue with a painting, show her the colors she needs. We identify foods by shape and later we find about ""Blue Skiddoo"" and visit a farm, where we help some baby chicks in hats to find their friends.

2: What Time Is It for Blue?
In this episode, we're concerned with what time it is and while we try to figure it out, we help our friends and have some fun along the way. We help out Tickety Tock after disturbing her and causing her to lose her numbers and bells. We do some cleaning by picking up some clothes and stuffed animals and putting them in Steve's closet. We also skidoo into a jungle and have some fun finding animals by imitating their sounds.

4: Blue's Story Time
It's story time at the Blue's Clues house and in this episode, we get to hear some classic stories and also use our knowledge to help fix problems with some classic stories. Shovel, Pail and Blue act out ""Jack and Jill"" and we fill in important parts of the story - for example, they went up a hill, not a mountain. Later, Blue finds a photo album and we help to arrange some pictures of her and her preschool friend, Magenta, to tell a story. We also visit the home of the Three Bears and use logic to make sure each one gets the right bowl of porridge and cup of milk.

5: Blue's Favorite Song
It's Song Time at the Blue's Clues house. Steve suggests singing ""She'll Be Coming Around the Mountain,"" but Blue doesn't want to sing that. We have fun learning interesting things about music in this episode and helping our friends with music-related things. When the sounds of some instruments get switched, we help to change them back. We help Steve to learn a brand new song. We also skidoo into a farm, where we help some chicks choose the right lyrics and tune for the song ""Row, Row, Row Your Boat.""

6: What Does Blue Need?
Needs are the order of the day. After taking care of some gardening needs, we help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, who need to know which fruits to wash for their fruit salad. Later, we help out with Steve's need to have his clothes clean and in order when Blue gets into them and they get messed up. Then we skiddoo into a picture of a beach where we help Starfish who needs to get to the ocean to get cleaned off.

7: Adventures in Art
Today we're exploring art in many forms. Steve and Blue enjoy painting and Steve has painted a picture of Blue and Blue's painted a nice outdoor scene. Later, we help her out with painting her wagon when she find that she doesn't have the colors that she wants. We help her out by showing that mixing two colors can make a new color. We also help out a color of felt friends to use shapes to make a sailboat. Later, we skiddoo into a picture of an art museum, where we learn that pictures can tell a story. Unfortunately, the story that the pictures represent isn't in the right order, so we use logic to get all the pictures back in the right place.

8: Blue Goes to the Beach
Steve and Blue are going to the beach and while we are there, we decide what clothes would be most appropriate to wear to the beach and experiment with physics in a game of sink or float with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. Then, we help sea creatures find their way back to the playground by matching their shapes with the coral reef.

9: A Snowy Day
It's a snowy day and we're going outside to play. Before doing that, we observe snowflake patterns with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. In a Blue Skidoo segment, we help a calendar kid to fix the scene depicted in a calendar picture to match the winter season. We also help Blue to figure what she's missing when she loses some winter clothing items while trying to get dressed to go outside.

10: The Trying Game
This episode is all about trying our best in the hopes of learning something, or getting even better at something we already know how to do. With Blue's encouragement, Steve takes up juggling, advancing from one ball, to two, to three. We help Tickety to tell what time it is by associating times with familiar objects and rituals. In Storybook Forest, we find Grown-Up Baby Bear and explore possible future career options for her, noting that she can be anything she wants to be. We also help young animals to find their parents, noting that some animals change forms as they grow up.

11: Pretend Time
Sometimes, by pretending, you can explore things that you normally couldn't. Steve has an interest in flight and pretends to be a bird and later a plane. We help out some birds who are pretending to see things in clouds. 12: Blue Wants to Play a Game!
Today, all sorts of games are being played at the Blue's Clues house, starting with hide-and-seek. Later, into a skiddoo segment, we play Gingerbred Boy's game, which is a riddle game to find his house.

13: The Grow Show
As we come in, Steve thinks that maybe we've grown some and it turns out that Blue's been growing too. As we focus on growing, we learn all about how plants grow. We also find out where they grow when we help some Felt Friends. In addition, an investigation with Shovel and Pail helps us to learn about length and volume.

14: Blue Wants to Play a Song Game!
Today, the Blue's Clues characters are playing ""song games"" - acting out and dancing when singing songs. Steve plays the ""Head and Shoulders"" song game, but we have to help him out to remember some of the words to the song. We join Blue and a monkey in the song game ""Two Little Monkeys."" We have to follow along with the monkey, once again helping out Steve, who keeps forgetting parts of the song and ends up singing some very silly things. We play ""If You're Happy and You Know It"" with Tickety Tock and then we skiddoo to a beach, where we find pairings of animals and try to guess which one of them is dancing along to a noise that can be heard on the beach.

15: Magenta Comes Over
Blue's friend, Magenta is coming over to the Blue's Clues house. As we wait for her and get ready, we help out some of our other friends. We help Shovel and Pail with a game of hide-and-seek in the backyard by following footprints. We help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper create a snack for Magenta and Blue, using the concept of opposites. A Blue Skidoo segment takes us into a felt frame, where we try to help two Felt Friends dress up in costumes.

16: Tickety's Favorite Nursery Rhyme
As we try to figure out Tickety Tock's favorite nursery rhyme, we learn all about rhyming and poetry. We help out Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper to pack a special lunch and learn about alliteration - they only want to pack things that start with a ""p"" sound. We learn about analogies when trying to solve a riddle to help some friends pass a tollbooth. Later, in the Blue Skidoo segment, we help a classic nursery rhyme character to finish a rhyming poem.

Steve and Blue have been creating newspaper hats. This episode is all about making things. Using patterns, we help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper to make a picture frame. 19: What Is Blue Afraid Of?
Blue is afraid of something and it's got her all shaky and nervous. In this episode, we take a look at things that can be scary and find out that by taking a closer look, they may not be so scary at all. We check out shadows with Shovel and Pail, figuring out what they really are. A photo session with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper finds something interesting. It turns out that it can be hard tell what things are up-close and they can even be scary. But by looking carefully, we can identify them. Later, Blue and Steve skidoo together in a haunted house. There, they find Boo, who's terrified of scary noises. We help him to find the source of the noises and he's not so scared anymore.

20: What Story Does Blue Want to Play?
Steve and Blue have been putting on plays based on stories from books. As we get ready to put on another play, we take a look at all sorts of different stories. When Blue knocks some books out of bookshelf, we take the time to put them back on the shelf and also help some lost characters get back to the proper storybooks that they belong in. Later, we skidoo into a storybook, where we help out Bunny to make a play with us and Steve as the star characters.

1: Steve Gets the Sniffles
Steve isn't feeling well. He has the sniffles and so we try to help him out while learning about healthy things in the process. While in the kitchen, we categorize healthy snacks with Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper, then Steve gets a quick check-up with Shovel and Pail. We also skiddoo into a book, where we meet a girl named Jill who wants us to try to figure out what happens in her story when she goes out to play in the rain.

2: What Does Blue Want to Build?
Steve and Blue have been building things and so in this episode we explore construction and measurement. We find some popsicle sticks assembling themselves in various shapes and try to figure out what they're creating. We help out Shovel and Pail - first to measure their sand castles and see which is taller and then to even them up. Later, in the Blue Skiddoo segment, we help a friend named Tink who was flung out of her contraption world to get back to where she belongs.

3: Blue's ABCs
This episode is all about books, words and letters. Steve himself has A Really Great Book, although we never do get to find out the contents of it. To fit with the theme, various objects are labeled such as the Thinking Chair and even Steve himself. By reading off a grocery list, we help Mr. Salt and Mr. Pepper to due their grocery shopping in order to feed a hungry Paprika. Later, we skiddoo into a storybook and determine the correct order of words to make complete sentences through visual and contextual clues.

4: Math!
This episode looks at math, mostly counting, but also basic addition and subtraction. We count the steps that it takes to get to various locations. We also help some of our friends with figuring out who has more or less of something. Then, after figuring that out, we help them to total it. We also skiddoo into a present (gift) store, where Steve takes care of buying a new crayon that he needs and even picks up a special extra something.

5: What Experiment Does Blue Want To Try?
Steve and Blue have been doing experiments to see what things sink and float. We find Shovel and Pail and help them out with their experiments with nature. We take a look at things through a magnifying glass and try to guess what they are. In the Blue Skiddoo segment, we meet up with the Sun and learn all about the different planets in our solar system.

6: Blue's Senses
In this episode, we explore our senses, from hearing to touch and more. A hunt for a missing wind-up toy under Steve's bed gets us learning about all sorts of sensations, from something prickly, to something very soft. We test a number of senses when trying to find things while playing ""Lights On, Lights Off."" We also skidoo into a computer game where ""sound notes"" provide us with sounds and we figure out what makes those sounds.

7: What Does Blue Want to Make Out of Recycled Things?
It's clean-up time and as we help Steve and Blue to find things to clean up, Steve gets the idea that we could turn the trash into something else. He draws a recycling logo on the screen and in this episode, we learn all about recycling. We help Steve when he encounters a group of recycling bins to figure out what things go in which bin. We help Tickety to make something neat out of her old stuff. Later, we skidoo into Recycle Town where we help the mayor to find ways to recycle all sorts of things, since nothing in Recycle Town is ever thrown away, it's all recycled.

8: Blue's Birthday
Today is Blue's birthday, but we've shown up a little early, so we help to set things up. As we get things set up, we notice things that are out of place or missing and help to make things right. In this episode, we explore the dreams of the various characters. We also learn that if you try hard enough, sometimes you can change your dream. That way, if you're scared by something, you can make it go away. Additionally, we find out that if you try hard enough, sometimes dreams can come true.

10: What Does Blue Want to do with Her Picture?
Blue has drawn a picture of herself, Magenta and Steve. Steve thinks it would be great to hang it on the refrigerator, but Blue has another idea. As we try to figure what it is, we work on solving some problems step-by-step. We help Steve to figure out who made an ice cream in the kitchen by becoming amateur detectives. We also skidoo into a bakery and follow a step-by-step recipe to make a tasty treat.

11: Blue's Sad Day
When we come in, we find that Blue's ears are droopy and she seems to be very sad. We suggest how we and Steve might be able to help her and then we help some of the other characters as well. We help out a felt friend who's scared of someone in an angry looking mask. We also skiddoo into a picture of Blue's school and find several of the students in ""tough situations."" By thinking about their problems, we're able to recommend the better solution of two choices.

12: What Does Blue Want to Do on a Rainy Day?
When it starts raining outside, Steve and Blue aren't upset because they can have lots of fun indoors. In fact, the rain sounds a lot like music. So we take the opportunity to explore all sorts of different music. We find Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Paprika and help out with their water xylophone. We have fun with Steve tapping out rhythms and we also skiddoo into a farm, where we match up animals based on the songs they're singing.

In this episode, the characters are dealing with trying to find things that they've lost. Sometimes it's not easy, but they have a little handy saying in the form of a song to help them, when you lose something --- ""go back, go back, go back to where you were!"" This helps out Steve to find something that he lost and later we help out Shovel and Pail and a kid named Felix after he loses some things when we help to walk him to school.

In this episode, we get a whole new perspective on things when we look at stuff through things and from various angles. We have fun with a kaleidoscope and mirrors too. 17: Nurture!
Sometimes, things need to be nurtured in order to grow and live properly. We help Steve and Blue with this by figuring out that their plants need water. Later, we skiddoo into a safari book and help some jungle animals to get their baths.

18: Blue is Frustrated
Frusturation - it happens to everyone, even characters on Blue's Clues. Fortunately, there's a way to deal with it, if you feel frustrated, the best thing to do is: stop, take a deep breath and think. Steve uses this idea when he has trouble keeping the picture by the Thinking Chair straight. This idea helps out Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper as well and later in the blue Skidoo segment we help out Rabbit who's frustrated about trying to balance things on a teeter-totter.

Blue has a toy plane she enjoys flying, but when she tries to fly it, it falls, hits the ground and breaks. We help her to fix it by showing her that it just had a broken wing and she can tape it. We are enlisted as mechanics and help characters to solve their mechanical problems and questions. We show Shovel and Pail how ramps work. We have great fun with a tape recorder and later skidoo into a game board. There, we help several characters that are experiencing trasnportation difficulties.

When Mailbox provides Steve with a package, it turns out to be a treasure chest, introducing ""Blue's Big Treasure Hunt."" Throughout the episode, we search for both clues and treasure hunt hints (scrolls of paper) to lead us to our goal. We solve riddles for clues and even find secret compartments. We even get to skiddoo into the Land of Great Discovery, where we help out characters from favorite nursery rhymes to remember just what happens in their rhymes.

2: Art Appreciation
There's a big Art Show happening at the Blue's Clues house. We pose for a portrait for Steve. We alaso find that there's something fishy going on, when fish seem to be popping up in artwork everywhere. In a Blue Skiddoo segment, we help soem friends to get back to the paintings where they belong.

3: Weight and Balance
When Steve asks for help with some heavy groceries, it gets us thinking about weight and balance. We decide to compare the weights of some of the groceries and then later things around the Blue's Clues house. With the help of a scale, we solve a debate between Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. Later, in the Blue Skiddoo segment, we help out customers at a Country Store who are looking to buy some things that are very light.

In this episode, we listen carefully to hear all sorts of different sounds. We start out hearing a noise and identify it as wind chimes coming from outside. Later, we use noises to help Shovel & Pail follow a gopher to a neat-sounding stream. Later, we skiddoo into a soundless black-and-white movie to fix it up by adding sound effects to it.

5: Animal Behavior!
In this episode, we learn all about different animals with the help of a book Blue has that we can use to look them up. As we learn, we also try imitating the behavior of a number of animals for fun. We help Shovel and Pail to find out why beavers pick up sticks and why birds tweet. In the Blue Skiddoo segment, we meet Lady Godiva, who uses a submarine to take us under the sea, where we find out about a very interesting form of animal behavior called ""camouflage.""

6: Blue's Big Pajama Party
Blue is having a big pajama party, late at night at the Blue's Clues house. We're invited, but what fun is pajama party if you do nothing but sleep? Blue certainly thinks this and so we have all sorts of fun. We help Shovel and Pail to identify animals that stay awake at night. In the Blue Skidoo segment we even pay a visit to outer space to try and answer the deep question of just why it is that we have night.

7: Draw Along with Blue
Blue and Steve have been having fun drawing and we're invited to grab a pencil and a paper and draw along. We get to draw all sorts of neat things and meet Markie the Marker, who has us play a game in which he try to figure out who he's drawing. We look outside the window for something neat to draw and then share our drawing with Steve and he shares his with us. Later, we skiddoo into Chalk World, where Chalk-Girl asks for Steve's help in telling the story of him trying to find the third clue.

8: Hide and Seek
A hide-and-seek game gets us going as we look for things all throughout the episode. For example, we get calls from Felt Friends to help them find things that they're giving each other and so we use their descriptions to figure it out. Later, we skiddoo into Blue's current favorite story, a book where everything is in Blue. We listen to blues style music and try to figure out what Blue's favorite party of the story is.

9: Thankful
Steve has come up with a ""Thankful Book"" and so he's looking to find out some of the things that the characters in the Blue's Clues house are thankful for. We help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper prepare for the big feast they're having that evening and also find out about what they and Paprika are thankful for. We also get Shovel and Pail's thoughts on this, as Steve grows hungrier and hungrier. Finally, before the big feast, we skiddoo into a picture frame and help some felt friends out with sharing and Steve practices patience in waiting for the big feast just a little bit longer.

10: Blue's Big Holiday
It's the holidays in the Blue's Clues neighborhood and we're getting together some great gifts, as well as creating patches for a memory quilt. In the Blue Skiddoo segment, we pick out the perfect gifts for some of Blue's friends. Later, we deliver them and learn all about various holiday traditions. In the process, we also receive several great patches for the quilt.

11: Pool Party
On a hot summer day, Blue and Steve hold a pool party, with a big list of friends to invite drawn up. We help to find them all to get them invited. We also test our memory skills - first using them to help Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and Paprika to prepare sundaes. Later on, we take part in a Blue Skidoo segment in which we play a matching card game.

12: Anatomy
As we come in, Steve invites us to try out his stethoscope and listen to Blue's heartbeat. In this episode, we learn all about different parts of the body. We check out a computer program and learn about the mouth, the eyes and the ears. Steve shows off his muscles when helping Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper. In the Blue Skiddoo segment, we experiment with a special type of x-ray machine.

13: Signs
Blue is trying to tell Steve something and in order to tell him, she decides to use a sign. It turns out that signs are all around us, in fact, Blue's Clues is a game of signs in a way. We help out Pail in this episode when Shovel posts signs to help find him. We learn all about ""don't"" signs as well as signs that give directions for locations. In the Blue Skiddoo segment, we find a girl named Carly whose telling a story in sign language and we help Steve with some of the signs that he's having trouble figuring out.

Today, we are having fun outside on a spring day. All of our friends are there: even Side Table Drawer has come out to do some bird-watching. We have fun doing things like looking for four-leaf clovers and exploring the vast backyard of the Blue's Clues house. In a Blue Skidoo segment, we help out a friend named Windy who has blown around things from all the different seasons, getting them all mixed up.

In this episode, viewers learn all about direction and following maps. To help Steve find Blue, we follow a number of maps. We help out Shovel and Pail in identifying a number of buildings that they could visit to do certain things. All of our friends are pretending to be different occupations, and we play Blue's Clues to figure out what Blue wants to be. 18: Periwinkle Misses His Friend
Periwinkle has recently moved into the Blue's Clues house from the city and very much misses his city bird friend, Periwinkle. We help to cheer him up and in the process learn all about the big city. Also, when Periwinkle has trouble playing some of the games he always enjoyed at home, we help him to come up with some new twists on the old games.

20: What's So Funny?
Silliness have overtaken the Blue's Clues house and Steve is more than happy to participate, by doing funny stuff such as putting a shoe on his ear and his head and trying to make Blue laugh. Side Table Drawer joins in by first giving Steve a potato when he goes to get his notebook. We come across Shovel and Pail, who find that Gopher's popping up all over the backyard, although they're not sure exactly where he's going to show up next. We figure out that he pops up in predictable patterns. Later, we skiddoo into Silly Town. Silly Town's a strange, mixed-up place. Looking around, we find everything from a banana being used as a hammer to a backwards park.

21: Blue's Big Costume Party
Today is Blue's Big Costume Party. Everyone is dressed up in all sorts of interesting costumes, but who is dressed up as what? We use our observation skills to figure it out. We also skiddoo into a haunted house and search for the mysterious Oogulah Boogulah. Later, everybody does the costume limbo, finding out just how low they go while dressed up in their costumes.

22: Inventions
Steve came up with a device to use to change the channel on the television without getting up, but when he realizes that there's already such a thing, it spurs him to try and create a unique invention following the slogan of ""try again."" When Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper want to eat peanut butter and jelly on bread together, Steve's excited at his solution, only to realize that the ""sandwich"" already exists. We come across Shovel and Pail and play an invention game. We take a look at pictures of inventions and identify the order in which they were invented. Later, we skiddoo into an invention factory, where we take a look at some famous inventions such as a train and a car.

23: Blue's Play
There's a play being held at the Blue's Clues house and we're asked to play the cow. As we learn about the play, we find that it still doesn't have an ending. We explore more about how the characters are feeling in the play to get a better understanding of it. We also skiddoo into a collage and talk to the characters themselves to try and get a bead on why things happen the way they do in the play.

24: Prehistoric Blue
Shovel and Pail find dinosaur footprints in the backyard, leading Shovel to worry that dinosaurs might be lurking in the backyard, despite Pail's assurances that they became extinct millions of years ago. We help to calm Shovel's fears by identifying the real animals that are in the backyard. We have fun with Steve pretending to be dinosaurs, learning, among other things, the difference between meat-eaters and plant-eaters. In the Blue Skidoo segment, we actually head back in time and find out about a number of dinosaurs, from what they looked like to how they behaved.

25: The Wrong Shirt (Opposites)
When we come in, we find that there's something very different about Steve's clothing - he's wearing a button-down shirt that looks like his normal pants and striped pants that look like his normal shirt. Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper explain what opposites are and Steve seems to like the idea. We learn more about opposites when a guy named Bob skidoos out a picture frame into the Blue's Clues house to deliver something to Steve. His presence often causes things to turn opposite. He has a magic ability that can fix it, but it's up to us to first find the things that are opposite so that we can tell him to fix them. Later, we skiddoo into a book where we help out two sisters that like opposite things to make their favorite places.

26: Words
This episode is all about words - even Blue's Clues are all words. Blue has a big bag of words from which we pull out such fun words as ""wiggle"" and ""enormous."" We help Mr. Salt and Pepper to prepare a sald for their friends Mr. Oil, Mrs. Vinegar and Vinaigrette by using associations to figure out the meanings of new words. Later, we skiddoo, oddly enough, into a blank piece of paper. We soon learn that by using the power of words, a blank piece of paper can become an imaginative and exciting journey down a road leading to an exciting party.

29: Shy
Magenta's owner, Miranda, comes over to the Blue's Clues house to return a book that she borrowed from Steve. She also has a video of Magenta that she wants to watch together with Steve and Blue later. Unfortunately, meeting new people can sometimes cause one to be shy. In this episode, we help some of our friends to feel less shy. We help Shovel to play with Pail's new friend, Sifter. Later, in the Blue Skiddoo segment, we help some of Blue's classmates at her school with some things that they're shy about.

30: Environments
Today, the characters are all learning about different environments. As always, one great way to learn is to skiddoo and so we skiddoo into a globe and meet up with Mother Nature and help her to come up with the lyrics to a song about the grasslands, the tropical rainforest and the arctic tundra. Later, we learn about the favorite environments of some of the other characters and use our newfound knowledge to identify them.

31: Stormy Weather
Steve and Blue are going on a nature walk, but before then, we try to figure out what the weather is going to be like. We learn about the weater, as Steve pretends to be a weather reporter and observes conditions outside. A Blue Skidoo segment takes us face-to-face with a drop of water. From it, we learn all about the water cycle, from beginning to end and over again.

28: Café Blue
Steve and Blue have set up a restaurant called ""Cafe Blue."" They've got fancy tables and menus, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper as chefs and they can't wait to begin serving food. We help them out with this as they find that it isn't as easy they thought when they're missing some of the things they need for the meal. By working together and using math, logic and observational skills, we help them to prepare meals for Shovel, Pail, Tickety and Periwinkle.

1: Imagine Nation
In this episode, we use our imagination to see, feel and even taste things that we wouldn't be able to otherwise. We tell a story with Blue, Tickety and Slippery Soap using pictures and our imaginations. Unfortunately, Mr. Salt doesn't seem to understand the whole imagination thing and so he doesn't see what we're seeing. Together with Steve, Periwinkle and Blue we come up with a special song to help Mr. Salt find his imagination.

2: Adventure
In this episode, we use our imaginations to go on a big adventure. We're in Queen Blue's kindgom and are trying to rescue King Horace, who has been captured by Periwinkle, the Kitten Castle Keeper. We have to think creatively to overcome his magic obstacles. Then, finding our path blocked by a lock, we skidoo into a storybook and must solve a series of riddles to obtain a magic key.

3: The Anything Box
When a mysterious box shows up in the backyard of the Blue's Clues house, Steve is disappointed to find that it's empty, but Blue shows him that by using imagination, the box can be anything one pretends it to be. We use this idea to have a lot of fun, pretending that the box is anything from a car to a rocketship. Shovel and Pail manage to get three different uses out of it. We even use it to make it to the top of a high tower in the Blue Skidoo segment.

Steve and the Blue's Clues characters are all pretending to be superheroes. Steve is Stripe Man, Blue is Super Blue and there's also Clock Girl and Super Soap. Together, with us the viewer (The Incredibly Helpful Friend) we're The Thinking Squad. Together, we use our superpowers to solve a number of problems. We help Paprika find her missing Teddy Bear and help Mr. Salt at telling time. In the Blue Skidoo segment, we help a friend named Frank to find out just what his superpower is and help out two other friends in the process.

8: The Baby's Here!
We've been waiting and the moment everyone's been looking forward to has finally come: Mrs. Pepper is ready to have her new baby. While she's at the hospital and we wait for Mr. Salt's phone call, we do things like look at baby albums to pass the time. Later, we visit the baby hospital with Blue, Steve and Paprika and meet the new baby. Finally, the baby comes home and we give it a special welcome home.

10: Making Changes
Now that Cinnamon has come to the Blue's Clues house, it's necessary to make some changes to keep him comfortable. That means that things such as loud games are out when Cinnamon is trying to sleep - but we learn that by just thinking a little, we can come up with changes that will let us still do the things that we want to do, but in a different way. Sometimes the changes aren't easy at first, but they help others and aren't really that much of a problem. In the spirit of change in helping out, we also try to find ways to help Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper take care of Cinnamon.

Periwinkle missed his friend from the city, Plum, for a long time, but now he's finally come over to visit. Plum is a small purple bird who knows how to speak both Spanish and English. We also skiddoo into a puppet book, where we find Pedro, who needs our help in finding things to wear, so we use both Spanish and logic to figure out the right things that he needs.

Blue's friend Green Puppy is over visiting with Blue at the Blue's Clues house and we're all having fun with blocks - Steve and Blue constructing towers with our help and Green Puppy knocking over towers of her own. We help an architect to select shapes to build various structures based on blueprints that he's created.

We also have fun with Steve's invisi-ball and later skidoo into a stadium where we assist Steve in making sense of an obstacle course filled with ball challenges.

At the top of the episode, Steve is playing show-and-tell. He's trying to figure out what he should show. He thinks maybe his stuffed toy, Horace the Anteater would be a good idea, or maybe his guitar. He gets a phone call and it turns out that it's from his brother, Joe. He's going to be coming over and is going to play show-and-tell with everyone. Throughout the episode, Steve plays show-and-tell with the various characters. He also spends time working on a picture to show to Joe and asks for the audiences' help. Finally, Steve has the viewers watch for Joe. He finally shows up and he and everyone else share their show-and-tell items together.

The episode starts out with Steve looking for Joe. Blue has something she wants to give to Joe, but first Steve and Blue have to find him. Steve and Joe end up in a back and forth hide-and-seek game, with both of them looking for each other inside and outside, until finally they meet up outside. This episode is all about Joe playing his first game of Blue's Clues, in which he tries to find out what it is that Blue wants to give him. He also gets to do his very first skidoo, into a picture of colored shapes, where, he Joe and Blue play another hide-and-seek game, but this time using distance comparisons to find the shape where someone is hiding.

16: Rhyme Time
In this episode, we help the various characters to come up with words that rhyme with things they're saying. Rhymes are words that have the same ending sound as another word, such as ""say"" and ""hay"" or ""head"" and ""bed."" Lullabies usually rhyme and so we help Mr. Salt to create one to get Paprika and Cinnamon to sleep. We also skiddoo into a rhyming storybook. There we help out several characters whose stories aren't quite right because one of the things in them doesn't rhyme with the other two things.

Steve's brought out our old friend sock puppet and he encourages us to join in too by using our hand as a new puppet, ""Handy."" We tell stories together using both of our puppets. We also help out Tickety Tock and Slippery, who have puppets of their own and want to tell a story, but aren't sure how to express emotions using their voices. Later, we skiddoo into a poster of a castle and become puppeteers to help out a character named Storybook.

10: The Boat Float
In this episode, we have fun with the characters making boats and learning more about them. We learn how boats should be constructed and things that will cause them to sink or float. 11: Bedtime Business
We've come to the Blue's Clues house at night and so we help Joe and Blue with their bedtime routine - their bedtime business! We watch as Joe tucks in his duck Boris and then learn about important pre-sleepytime activities. The characters have small clothing crisis, but with our help in identifying clothing through features such as spots and stripes, the problem is solved. We also help out with washing up, reading a story and more.

12: Shape Searchers
Blue has created a fun game called Shape Searchers. She pulls out a shape from a bag of hers and we try to find it. In this episode, we search for shapes in all sorts of places, pointing them out as we see them. We also have a Blue Skidoo segment filled with shapes. We meet some shapes and show them how they can combine with other shapes to make various things.

13: Blue Goes to the Doctor
Blue is going to the doctor. She isn't sick, but she is getting a checkup and so we help her gather the things she needs to get ready, including a stuffed animal to hold on to in case she gets scared. We play doctor and nurse with Shovel and Pail and later join Blue for her checkup. After her checkup, Blue has a special surprise for Joe.

14: Contraptions!
Joe and Blue have been having some fun making neat contraptions. In this episode, we learn about devices such a pulleys and levers as we check out the contraptions the various characters have made. We use our prediction skills to try and figure out what the contraptions do. We also skidoo into a computer contraption game where we help Gilda the builder to complete some unfinished contraptions.

15: A Brand New Game
Joe has invented a brand new game called ""Presto Change-Joe"" and his idea is catching on with the other characters. In this episode, we have fun in taking part in new games, doing things like playing pretend and imitating behaviors. A game of Periwinkle's provides an opportunity for memorization. We also join in a game of Franny felt friend's in a Blue Skidoo segment and act out based on things that are lying around her room.

16: A Surprise Guest
Joe and Blue are expecting a surprise guest, so to get ready she and Joe clean Blue's room, with our help in putting things away in the proper places. We also help Blue put away her toys. In the Blue Skidoo segment, we visit Blue's preschool and help Orange Kitten, Green Puppy and Duck put away the toys to get the preschool cleaned up. Back at the Blue's Clues house, we set up an apple juice party for the guest.

17: Dress Up Day
Today, the characters are playing dress-up and we get to watch them, join in and have some fun pretending. The fun starts as Joe becomes Explorer Joe and later dresses up as a robot. We see some of our favorite characters dress up as a crossing guard, an astronaut and more. Later, in a Blue Skidoo segment, we help an ostrich to put on a play, finding the proper props and costumes to make the play work.

18: Blue's Big Band
Blue has created ""Blue's Big Band"" and many of the characters, including Joe and ourselves will be playing instruments in the band. We practice with Tickety and later listen to some music that Mr. Salt, Mrs. Pepper and family are creating simply by using an old washboard. We follow along to some of Periwinkle's beats as he plays on the drums. Later, we skiddoo and meet Piano, who guides us through a musical story about a group of piggies.

19: Up, Down, All Around!
When Joe needs help finding Baby Bird, we learn about the importance of directions. From left and right to up and down and more, we learn all about directions in this episode. Directions come in handy when a felt friend needs our help in getting back to his felt frame. They can even help classic storybook characters, such as Little Bo Peep, when help her to find her sheep in a Blue Skidoo segment.

20: The Story Wall
Joe and Blue are creating a ""story wall"" - a series of pictures on a wall telling the tale of ""Two Rabbits Who Went to Their Grandma's House."" Their names are Rebecca and Robbie and this episode we learn their story and even help to create it. We consider some of the characters' creations for the story and help them select the right pictures that match the story they want to tell. We even get to skiddoo into the story and watch events as they happen.

21: The Alphabet Train
Joe and Blue are creating an alphabet train, with the help of the Blue's Clues characters. There are going to be boxes from A-Z connected to the train and each one will contain something to represent that letter. We help the characters throughout to figure out what they can put it the boxes and also help to make sure everything is in order. Our skidoo trip takes us into a magnet board, where we find every more things for the boxes. Once train is complete, we join in a song about the alphabet.

22: Numbers Everywhere!
In this episode, we explore numbers, counting and basic arithmetic. We help out to find missing numbers by using counting to figure out where they're hiding. We also skiddoo into a book filled with numbers. There, we help out a couple of different numbers to tell a story and learn addition and subtraction in the process.

23: Blue's Predictions
When we correctly predict that when Blue pokes a soap bubble, it'll pop, we decide it would be fun to predict other things as well. In this episode, we use observations and logic to figure out things that will happen. We watch a robot race that Paprika sets up and use what she tells us about the robots to guess which will cross the finish line first. In the Blue Skidoo segment, we hop inside a storybook, where we predict what will happen in the story of Penguin Pierre, with the help of Bookmark to guide us along.

24: Our Neighborhood Festival
Today, there's a big neighborhood festival being held in the Blue's Clues neighborhood. Everyone's excited about everything that's happening, although different things excite different characters. Magic is always a mainstay with Periwinkle and he has Joe and Blue play a ""Guess Who"" game and then provides Joe with a festival passport in which he can put stickers to represent the various events he's attended. By playing Shovel's beanbag toss game, we get another sticker, as well as a modeled look of the neighborhood. Matlee the librarian also has a game to play - a storybook game in which we match characters with the stories that they belong in. At the end of it all, the evening is capped off with a beautiful fireworks display.

25: Blue Takes You to School
Joe and Blue accompany Periwinkle to his first day of preschool. He's a bit nervous to go, but he's okay since we're there with him for his first day. Once he gets there, he finds that he thinks that school is lots of fun. He takes part in activities such as ""circle time"" and ""painting time"" and even gets to feed the pet rabbit, Giggles. When it's time to go home, he likes school so much that he wants to play it as a game back at home.

26: Meet Polka Dots!
This episode introduces us to Polka Dots, a small, stuffed green dog-toy of Blue's with pink polka-dots. We also learn more about Joe's stuffed duck, Boris. We play pretend with Slippery, learning that using our imagination and perhaps our own stuffed friend, we can do anything we want to do. Then, we meet Periwinkle's friend, Mr. Plate and visit new places and situations with the two of them.

27: The Scavenger Hunt
Blue and her friend Magenta have created a scavenger hunt for us and Joe. We look all over the Blue's Clues house to find things on the list. A visit to the kitchen results in a tasty treat and we find several things on the list. Then, for some special shape-searching, we skidoo along with Blue and Magenta into a shape world.

28: Let's Write!
Joe and Blue have been having fun writing labels, labeling all sorts of different things in the Blue's Clues house. We have fun with writing too, as Joe teaches us a trick where we can write a letter in the air using our finger. We find a character named Marky up in the attic and we help him to make labels for a couple of boxes. In the Blue Skidoo segment, Joe finds himself holding a very large paintbrush and a character named Palette shows up and asks us to help her write a word.

29: Magenta's Messages
Magenta is taking a trip to the beach and she asks us to look after her house. Fortunately, we're not without help, she's left us a number of written and picture messages to tell us what to do. We help out with things such as feeding her fish and taking out her recycling. We get to find out what more of the inside of her house looks like and even have fun solving the game of Blue's Clues outside.

30: Body Language
In this episode, we study body lanuage to learn about feelings. We practice showing feelings with our faces and also trying to identify others feelings based on their faces. A skiddoo segment shows us that we can tell a lot just from shadows. We help to make a play that's acted out entirely using body language.

In this episode, we go on a car trip with a lady named Carmen. We learn all about important safety rules for riding in the car. We also learn how to pass time in the car, since sometimes long trips can get boring. We also groove to the music of a famous singer.

This episode is all about observing things carefully to learn more about them. For example, we look carefully at a duck to figure out what it's doing. This episode is all about actions and consequences. By singing ""I did that,"" or ""you did that,"" we learn that by doing certain things, we can cause things to happen or make people feel a certain way. For example, Tickety makes Pail mad when she knocks over his block tower and we find a way to help her out. We also visit Blue's school, where we explore sharing and taking turns.

35: Animals in Our House?
The animals from Blue's picture book, Animals, Animals, Animals are running loose in the Blue's Clues house. In this episode, we find them all, learning in the process what's special about them and how they make use of it in their natural habitats. We play a game of hide-and-seek with Shovel and Pail to find one animal and have some wacky fun with another. The animals could be anywhere, but they're not dangerous, so we have fun as we find them all.

34: Morning Music
Coming into the Blue's Clues house, it's very early in the morning and so we follow the cahracters and learn about morning routines through song. We help Joe in figuring out what to do in the bathroom in the morning. We also help him with getting dressed. Later, a character called Shoehorn helps out with putting on his shoes. We also skiddoo into a shoe catalog for more work with shoe-tying.

Blue has her own book nook where she's organized her books into sections. We read some of the books and also help out some of the characters to find books that they need to help them out with things. 1: The Legend of the Blue Puppy
On a night with a blue moon filling the sky, a moon fairy named Moona appears outside the Blue's Clues house and tells Blue a story about her birth under a blue moon, with a key that will unlock her greatest gift. We follow Moona to find this key and once we have it, a great hunt all over the Blue's Clues house begins to find the lock that it fits. Once that's found, the key unlocks ""Blue's Room,"" a special playroom where she is transformed into a puppet. Here, Blue can meet lots of new friends, but the most important thing about it is that she can talk. We take part in games such as ""Boogie Woogie"" (a freeze-dance style game) and ""Dress-Up"" and then a clock chimes and Blue returns to Joe, who is excited to hear about her greatest gift.

2: Love Day
Joe receives a mysterious ""Love Day"" card from a secret admirer and wonders who it could be. The characters explore the meaning of love and learn some important things: such as that someone can love more than one person and that you can get mad at someone and still love them. The Blue Skidoo segment features a story that emphasizes the value of true love. In ""Blue's Room,"" Blue talks with Cinderella (special guest star Mary Stuart Masterson) and gets the answers to some unresolved questions, such as whether or not Cinderella married her prince.

3: Blue's Wishes
Blue and Joe are visited by a magical fairy called ""Wish"" who for a day will grant them any wish they like. They make some fun wishes, getting small to ride a train, making clues appear and helping out friends in the process. We help to make Pail, Tickety and Mr. Salt's wishes come true, paying a visit to a fairy-tale castle in the process. Later, Blue visits her special playroom. There, Fred is engaging in her favorite pastime: pretending for it to be her birthday. Today, she wishes for it to be her birthday and we, Moona, Blue and a mixing bowl help to make the wish come true.

4: Joe's Clues
In this episode, Joe has something very special for us. He's created his version of Blue's Clues known as ""Joe's Clues,"" in which he leaves orange handprints on the clues and he wants us and Blue to play along. 5: Skidoo Adventure
Joe, Blue and the rest of the Blue's Clues charaters have been working on a project called Wacky Wild World. It's a craft complete with all sorts of worlds, from a clay desert to a world filled with soap bubbles. Blue skidoos into the project and we're on a grand adventure. After a stiff wind blows away the picture of home we need to return to the Blue's Clues house, we end up on a treasure hunt, searching for magic letters that will help us form a magic word that we can use to get the picture back.

This episode features ""playdates,"" special time playing with some of the characters in the Blue's Clues house. In this episode, the characters and us have a soccer practice and play Blue's Clues in a unique way. Joe is the coach and provides practical soccer tips about things such as how to avoid bumping into each other and not giving up. It's a big musical event when Joe and Blue have the Bluestock concert in the Blue's Clues backyard. Famous artists are on hand, as are many old, familiar songs. We explore a variety of musical styles, from reggae to jazz. We also pay a visit to Blue's Room for a little Mozart, in the form of ""Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star."" There, we learn quite literally just what the little star is.

13: Meet Blue's Baby Brother
Viewers are invited to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Blue's Clues as Blue becomes a big sister when she searches for her baby brother. For the first time ever, the characters of Blue's Room are together with many of the characters from the original Blue's Clues. As they gather together for a family party, Blue has a big announcement. She has a baby brother, but she isn't sure who he is. She and Joe skidoo off to Puppyville to find him. There, they learn while there are many puppies there who could be Blue's brother, they'll have to play a special game of Gold Clues (which also includes a golden Notebook and golden Thinking Chair) to find out just who Blue's brother is. As they being their search through the many areas of Puppyville, they meet a small, white puppy named Sprinkles. Sprinkles is young and still has a lot of things to learn --- such as the alphabet and his colors. He finds that each time he learns something new, with our help, he gains a new set of colorful spots.
